| Efficient Standard Q-duct
QA are made of permeable material, and Q-duct IA are fitted with rows of small outlet
holes. When connected to the ventilation system, the airstream provides the air pressure
necessary for the sock to maintain its circular form while air seeps out through millions
of small pores or through carefully calculated outlet holes. The result is a draft-free
climate control environment. Due to the large ventilation capacity of Q-duct, they are particularly well suited to
tackle draft problems in various type rooms. By sizing each sock to the room size,
variations are easily controlled. Thus providing precise air distribution. Q-duct products must pass a rigorous internal quality control to ensure each customer's product is of the highest quality. Filtering: Q-duct provides a first class microbiological filter, as the ventilation
socks themselves are made of polyester or Trevira, which is very efficient in filtering
out any mold spores that may be present in the air. This provides excellent protection,
especially in the food industry. In addition, they trap a significant amount of dust
present in a room. Just one air passage can retain up to 60% of particles > 1 micron.
Because of this ability to filter so effectively, we recommend the use of a filter able to
remove 85% of all particles > 1 micron, as it is our experience that anything less may
require frequent laundering of the socks. |
